Cindy Bousquet Harris
Editor-in-Chief
Cindy Bousquet Harris is a poet, photographer, licensed marriage and family
therapist, and the editor of Spirit Fire Review. Her poems can be found in Nostos,
Clamor, MacQueen’s Quinterly, Black Bough’s Christmas & Winter Edition, and
several anthologies, including Poemeleon’s Over the Moon. Cindy has facilitated
poetry workshops for adults and at-risk youth. Her book manuscript, Ice in Heaven,
was a finalist for the 2018 Hillary Gravendyk Prize. Born and raised in the Midwest, she now lives in Southern California with her husband and their children. You can

Janine Pickett

Founding Editor
Janine Pickett is the founding editor of Spirit Fire Review and Indiana Voice Journal.. She's had nonfiction work published in commercial print magazines, including Country Woman, and in Chicken Soup For The Soul. Her poetry appears in print anthologies, e.g., including Poets of Madison County, a regional poetry anthology which she
co-edited. Janine is also an artist. Her artwork has been featured in online journals,
used as book covers, and featured in the "Figures of Speech" gallery at Anderson
Museum of Art. In her words, "Creating artwork while meditating on scripture is so calming and restorative for me... I’m trying out different techniques, such as painting
