You’re Close But Yet So Far From Me

You’re close but yet so far from me.

I feel your heart has never been free.

It seems you have always lived in fear

Of loving those you should hold so dear.

Can I, please, suggest to you

Someone who will always be true,

A friend who will be there to the end.

Jesus is that Someone on whom you can depend.

"I feel your heart has never been free." So poignant.
