My Friend Jesus Christ

He came to me

sailing across the rain puddle

in an origami boat.

Jesus,

removing the mildew stench

and stains from my clothes

with a tap on my shoulder,

silencing the bullies.

Jesus,

in our own little tea party,

his pierced palms

clinking cups with me.
