We’re All Unique

I’ve heard before that no two sunsets are identical,

Like the numerous snowflakes that fall,

So many other aspects of this world aren’t identical either,

Just like us,

Every one of us has uniqueness

And has something marvelous to contribute to this world,

With our individual talents,

To make life even more beautiful, ravishing,

Than it ever was before,

Just like the various aspects of nature,

The trees, lakes, oceans, mountains, waterfalls, volcanoes, birdsong,

And so many more things,

We’re all a wondrous part of this world,

Adding our own specks of beauty,

Because even among the bad things that happen,

We have the power within our souls,

To bring in more light, joy, and peace,

Even among the negative times we so often deal with,

There are still joyous things to look forward to,

Moments of harmony to grasp, to place in a jar, and never let go,

And we can help remind those around us to do the same.
