Spirit Fire

In the hush of dawn’s embrace,

A lion’s mane ignites the sky—

Orange flame, golden breath,

Hope roaring against the night.

Through grief, through searching,

Through shadows that bend the soul,

God whispers, I am here.

And the fire becomes whole.

Every streak of light reminds us,

Every ember sings His care—

Spirit fire, eternal goodness,

Burning love beyond despair.

A New Beginning

The past lies folded,

like pages worn with tears,

yet the Spirit turns them gently,

revealing tomorrow’s song.

Pain does not define me,

it refines me—

ashes become soil,

and soil births joy.

God’s hand writes renewal

in the margins of my life,

and I rise,

a new beginning in His light.

The Quiet Spaces

Between the words we speak,

between the silences we keep,

God dwells—

a presence steady, unseen,

yet nearer than breath.

In the quiet spaces,

memory becomes prayer,

and sorrow becomes seed.

Love grows there,

restoring what was broken,

reminding us:

we are never alone.

Hope roaring against the night.

I love it.

I’m trying to read a poem a day from the journal as part of my daily healing.

Thank you.
