Dear readers,
Autumn is just around the corner, and I continue to glean wisdom, insight,
and encouragement from the work of our contributors. As a sampling, here
is a type of “cento” poem (a poem made from short excerpts of others’ writings).
This is just a taste of the bounty in this issue.
It seems the years pass...
like a stream through young woodlands (C. Adams)
with easy thoughts / or weary bones. (J. Carroll)
What can I do with the sorrow…? (M. Shoemaker)
Give them hope in this fallen land, (C. Bunton)
a soft gentle reach for love over curse, (O. Dugan)
it's always joy
when the lost come home (D I Szamosi)
like the music itself
is the mercy of God. (S. Tate)
Blessings,
