Water of Gladness May the love of the Lord, And the beauty of His creation, Become a river and a stream, That they may flow through your heart, And fill it overfull With the water of gladness.

______________

Strange Act

An old man now,

I watch to see

Which way the wind

Will blow,

And though I

Sometimes hope I'm wrong,

I'm thinking that I know.

The Book talked of the time

We live in now,

A long, long time ago.

The players are in place

On stage,

The play seems set

To start,

And as the end approaches,

Each will do his part,

To bring to pass

This last strange act

Written long ago,

All witnesses will be in awe,

Even those who know.

Bruce Mundhenke has worked as a laborer and a registered nurse. He lives in a small

town in Illinois with his wife and their dog and cat. He sees in nature beauty, revelation,

and inspiration.
