Dear Readers,
Sometimes, as an issue comes together a certain theme
begins to form. That's what happened with this one. I was
struck by how many of the writings referred, in some way
or another, to the sun.
I suppose it's not too surprising. The sun gives us warmth
and light, so we tend to notice it. And not long ago, the sun
put on quite a show with solar flares that lead to amazing
displays of northern lights.
Something about light calls to us.
"And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."
"God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world."
And "let your light shine."
There's something about light...
